A century ago, this journal was assembled on a much excited
journey home from Paris. Was it by a soon to be bride? An aspiring
dress designer? , A young lady who was savoring all of the news
of the latest Paris fashions? You will uncover your own inspired
story in our exploration of this miniature journal pendant.

In this workshop we will first explore different metal etching
processes to create our journal covers. We will also be going
over different patina processes to give our metal the wonderful
the look of antiquity. We will  do a simple bezel setting technique
for one of our  vintage elements, and some torch soldering .

The inside of our journal will begin with diving into fabric collage ,
using vintage laces, ribbons found vintage elements, and
creating and forming some new "old " elements as well.

At the end of the workshop we will be able to share our
revelations of the "history"  of our journals and the different
journeys and paths they have all taken.
